The next step

Every step of checkout, actually walked through
Shopping cart, details, paying with iDEAL and the confirmation: before go-live we place test orders through the whole chain, so that we find an error before a customer runs into it.
Why an online shop with us is always custom work
No two online shops are the same. That is why we do not work with a standard solution but with a tailored quote. What is fixed: the scope, the price and the management you get each month.
Payments and shipping properly set up
iDEAL and other payment methods, shipping rules, VAT settings and confirmation emails: the basics are right from day one and fully tested before go-live.
Integrations with your systems
Stock, accounting, till or scheduling: we connect the online shop to the systems you already work with, so you never have to keep track of anything twice.
Built for conversion
Fast product pages, clear navigation and a checkout without distractions. Measurable with e-commerce tracking, so you can see where your revenue comes from.
Secure and managed
Updates, backups, monitoring and security checks are part of the management. An online shop is a sales channel. You don’t leave that running unattended.

- Step 2
Design and build
Custom design, built in clear steps with fixed feedback rounds. You approve along the way via the client portal.
- Step 3
Testing and go-live
We test payments, forms, shipping and tracking end to end. The shop only goes live after your approval and our go/no-go checklist.
- Step 4
Management and optimisation
Monitoring, updates and reporting. Based on real data, we improve product pages and the checkout process.
What you can add later
Each is available separately, with its own fixed scope. Expand when it works.
The scope, the price and the monthly management are fixed in advance in the quote. Anything outside that, you first receive as a proposal.
Frequently asked questions about having an online shop built
What does it cost to have an online shop built?
At SEBA Connect, an online shop, booking system or customer portal is always custom work. The price depends on functionality, integrations, numbers of users, data migration and management needs. You pay once for the build and then monthly for the hosting and management route that suits the application. For custom work, that is usually Managed App Hosting (hosting for an application with its own database or server, such as an online shop) instead of the standard Web Platform. We work it out in a quote with a fixed scope.
Why does an online shop not have a fixed price?
Because no two online shops are the same. Payments, shipping, stock, integrations with till or accounting software and product data differ per business. A fixed price would be either too expensive for simple shops or too tight for complex ones. Custom work with a clear scope is fairer.
Can you also build a booking system or customer portal?
Yes. Besides online shops, we build booking systems (for example for appointments and reservations) and private customer portals. These also count as custom work, with the same approach: a clear scope, a fixed price in the quote and ongoing management.
What happens after my online shop is delivered?
Your online shop runs under active management: hosting, SSL, backups, updates, monitoring and support are included in the monthly fee. That matters especially for an online shop: downtime or an outdated payment integration costs you sales straight away.
